Saturday, August 10: In a gorgeous estate garden setting, a tasting of Carneros all-star wineries and community cornhole tournament to benefit the Carneros and Schell-Vista Fire Departments.

The Third Annual Carneros Wine Alliance Cornhole Tournament & Wine Tasting will this year be held at Etude Wines, 1080 Cuttings Wharf Road.

The event, from 4 to 6 p.m., begins with a tasting of wines from neighboring Artesa, Ca’ Momi, Calmere, Cuvaison, Etude, Poseidon Vineyard, Saintsbury, Sangiacamo, Schug Carneros Estate, Truchard, Viansa, ZD Wines and more.

“With the Carneros region spanning both Napa and Sonoma counties, we’re no strangers to friendly rivalry,” said Emily Byrne co-chair of the Carneros Wine Alliance. “Our annual cornhole tournament has become a highlight of the summer, and the Etude Wines estate is a beautiful backdrop for an afternoon of competition and world-class Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.”

Tickets are $50 per person and include a walk-around wine tasting, small bites and participation in the tournament. Tickets can be purchased online here.
